Gear Vendors,

I have the HD model with a deep sump for towing. I don't know what the size difference is with the regular oil pan. We couldn't lower the engine in with the tranny, the GV would not fit over the tranny crossmember with an angle. Once we seperated the motor and tranny , the tranny and GV went in without a problem. Went with a one piece drive shaft, 56 1/2 inches ( with the 14 bolt rear)

the T400 mounted on the last bolt holes in the frame for the tranny crossmember and mounted the motor mounts accordingly. I was suprised on how easily the Caddy motor went in, fits very well. on the stand the caddy motor looks ugly with the dizzy and the a/c comp. on the front, but in the truck it looks great. like it belongs there.
