Use some 3M spray adhesive that was for hood insulation that I picked up at the local AutoZone. I also picked a length of narrow aluminum flat stock at the local hardware store and bent it to sit snugly into the center rib......just insurance to make sure it doesn't sag.

Gone about 800 miles and it's stuck just as good as the day I installed it. I really like the quality "thud" sound the hood makes now when I close it.
