I'm not sure if this helps but, I have an '81 Silverado 1/2 ton 2 w/d. I'm gathering the parts to do the same thing to mine. I know for my size and model; '73-----'87 drivetrain parts are interchangable. I'm also pretty sure that the trans. crossmembers are the same. For mine I went on Craigs List, but E-bay has a lot of parts. I think you're better off buying pilot, and throw-out bearings new. NAPA carries an extensive line. I went w/ a Muncie 4 speed cause it's the biggest, & bestest.
