I need to replace the rear end in Frances with a later model 6 lug rear.
She still has the original and it's starting to growl!
I understand that I will need to get new spring perches and weld them on.
I also read that the original rear is 55” backing plate to backing plate or 62” wide at the wheel mounts.
SO ..anyone know what year rear end is 6 lug with close to the same width?



Frances has a 72 350 Target motor with a 350 automatic.
The rear is the original and I belive the gears were 3:90 that have been to low for normal highway driving.
