PA-Indian - Ohio George still runs his speed shop in Dayton.
I happened to be flipping thru my GPS and ran into the shop address.
I was only like a mile away so I ran over and spent about 2 hours with George and his son.
I even have the poster shown in the picture in my office.
George still does alot of work on the old ford motors, 427, 428 & 429's.
They even have a Buick motor in the shop from the Indy lights days. At one time they made every motor for indy lights.
Walking history is what he is. Same shop that he has worked out of for decades - proclaims it is the oldest continuously run speed shop in the nation.
Tons of trophy's from over the years in the shop as well.
They have so many old parts it makes you sick, they had just dug out a hurst wheels metal shipping drum to sell on ebay when I was in. Hurst used to send out all their wheels in these drums about the size of a 30 gallon grease drum with the white black and gold hurst logos on the side.
