The disk brake swap was pretty easy, I think I had it started and done within a day.

The place where I bought my donor parts from had just cut the front half of the frame off of a '72 C20 so I had everything from the engine crossmember to the 8-spoke white wheels.

The only problem I ran into was installing the new ball joints. I figured I might as well replace all of the suspension components while I was into it. And one of the lower ball joints turned out to be stubborn.

Oh and make sure that your coil springs are correctly seated before you put everything back together. Once I was done I stood back to admire my work, I noticed that the pass. side of the truck looked a little higher than the driver side. So I got to take the pass side back apart so that I could give the pass. coil spring a good half turn. And then I was done.
