I'm with the others, I've never heard of a metric 350 or 400, if it says metric on the pan then it's probably a 200 or a 2004R. Myself i don't mind the lockup, course I have mine fixed so I can shut it off if I want and then for road driving kick it back on, cause when a lockup up convertor is unlocked they generate imense heat and fast. i suppose all you Chevy guys will hate me when you find out that as my name says 86K10 is powered by a 7.5L
Oldsmobile. Hey at least it's GM. And it was just an experiment I've always wanted to try. It worked out quite well, now that it has been changed from 3:08 to 4:10 gears and a 69 C20 rear axle with detroit locker, it's a regular powerhouse and still only runs 2200 RPM at 75MPH.
