My link below shows what my cab stand looks like, and demonstrates how I get cabs on/off without damage.
The cab stand is made out of 2" galvanized pipe I bent in a conduit bender and welded together so that pipecaps can be loosely bolted in the stock cabmount locations and then screwed onto the threaded pipe stands.
The bridge supporting the cab while its in the air is a "T" of 2x6s with shallow slots for the door weatherstrip metal, and a hole exactly centered on the bottom to receive a bolt "spike" in the end of my engine crane.
