Definately go with the Class III, receiver type hitch. They're stronger and safer than pulling with your bumper. Plus if you get into heavier loads- you'll be able to hook up a set of load-balancing torsion bars that keeps weight off the tongue and reduces the deadly tail-whip action that can occur. Also- you can get a "hidden" style that mounts behind a sport bumper, so it's never seen until you use it and looks really good to boot.
BTW- If interested in one that comes out below the step bumper- let me know, I have one I'd be willing to part with.
