I will be swaping VIN plaques. Not sure about the legalities, but I do know you have to find and use rosette rivets. It was marked rosette on my VIN inspection.
I just want the frame to match the cab VIN.
Another option was to cut around the VIN plaque and weld the whole area back in, keeping the stock rivets.
