I have a different yoke from an old project, but the u-joint holes are larger than the truck d-shaft holes. Do they make u-joints with the smaller size on one end and larger on the other?

I was able to get the weight off...it seems to be a balancer because it was rubber mounted to the yoke. I can now get the d-shaft installed, but there is still a lip on the yoke that is limiting the inward movement of the d-shaft. There is probably a little more than 1/4" of inward play with the suspension under full weight, which I'm thinking is not enough.
