I personally like my Flowmaster 40s on my truck. I run duals with 2 1/2 inch pipes to the rear. The rumble is great and the sound is far enough back that the truck is not too loud for the driver. I have run some Magnaflow mufflers---BE SURE to buy the top quality muffs from them. The ones that I ran had pin holes in them in just under two years each. I took my DD 91 Silverado to a Flowmaster (3" single in and two 2 1/2 outlets) and it is now over two years and going strong.
