like it was mentioned, there was no such thng as a SS truck at all in 67 - 72. They never badged a C/K truck as an SS till the 90's (maybe 89).
Titles are very easy to manipulate, you tell the lady at the DMV/DPS to type SS in, and it gets typed in. Cheyenne shouldn't even be on there. C/10 1/2 ton truck, should be all it says, that is the model of vehicle.
Welcome to the boards... I know I personally think you are lucky as hell to have found this rig, esp if it's as clean as I remember texas trucks being.
So you know, a factory big block, cheyenne super, all on a short wheel base fleet side truck, is pretty much the truck collectors dream, and is worth more than most of our trucks. (stock for stock)
