Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot

I dunno, maybe I'm a sissy, but I'm gettin' a lump in my throat over this whole thing.

Dear zippydodog,

Hey Bill: I'm definitely going to check that out because I'm already frustrated as I can be with this process so far. With every question I get, I find myself turning to ask my husband what to say. I know how pathetic I sound, but I'm really pretty tough but all this is almost too much. I had a man drive over here yesterday from another time zone and still, the first thing he did was start offering to buy this and that. He said he was an expert on pricing these parts and proceeded to offer me 15.00 for a brand new altenater and 25.00 for the still in plastic carbeurater thats shown in my pictures. We paid 250.00 for it at a truck show in 2006! It took all I could do to get the garage door closed and escort him to his car (a Ford). That should have told me something! Anyway, that happens all the time. I want to give someone a good deal, but I'm not gonna give it all away either. Your message has helped me alot. If I don't at least get my reserve from this auction, I'll follow your advice. Thanks again Bill. It's nice to know there are people who care. Dawn

Dear chvynut44,

Dawn, It's too bad that you have to deal with these kinds of people sometime. But, he wasn't a true "Chevy Truck Nut" like us (driving a Ford?) We've got a bunch of really good people (ALL of our forum members are good people) on our forum. Like I said, we've been talking about your situation and we're all ready to jump in and help out if this auction doesn't work. And, don't worry about the 25 dollar subscription fee on the website, that's gonna be taken care of. My direct email is: zippydodog@msn.com if you need anything.
Bill
