You have to drill out the rivets that hold the glass to the window channel.
I left the pin that the glass pivots on because mine were in good shape.
When you are reassembling use good rivets that fit well also your rivet gun will need a narrow nose to fit into the channel to get a good seat.
If you have the old channels practice on them first as you will get better at it as the more you do it.
Then when you put the assembly back into the door the question will be does the bottom rubber go on the inside of the door or overlap to the outside. You will understand this a lot better when you get to this point.
