There are "pick" type of tools that you would use by drilling a 1/8-inch hole or a series of holes then use the picks to pull the metal. They're called pull rods.

Another method would be to use one of the mig/tig/arc tools that would have you welding a stick to the metal, then using a puller (slap hammer) to pull out the dent.
