Well, that's pretty much what I was getting at w/the 6x9 question. I'm not a big fan of em either and think you would be happier w/a 6.5" component set. U could always use the 6x9's for your "rear fill".
But I know some people have a direction they are going in (budget, looks, sound, etc) and that's why I asked the questions above.
