Re: Skip White Performance distributors

I guess what i am trying to find out is if anyone has ever compared the internals of a MSD and the skip white dizzy. I feel like the geometry of the slots and the pin locations are different.
i have installed an MSD kit, a Crane kit, and a Mr G kit and they all bind before the dizzy fully retards. this limits the max amount that the mechanical advance can open. for instance, with the dizzy in stock config. my timing is at 12 deg. at idle. when i install the MSD kit my timing is now at 30 deg at idle. so its taking up 18 deg of travel by not being able to fully retard.

I have ordered limit bushings and i am wondering if they are going to have the same issue as the curve kit.
