Actually, the cut will be made a couple inches behind the front cab mount bolts. That way, the front part of the cab will have a reference point, as if the windshield posts don't already do that. I'm stoked to think that the rust will be gone and it won't look like a steel patchwork quilt, but he could sure do it. Here's some pix of the work he's doing on that F-100. The dimmer switch well started the same way. He makes what you can't buy.
