for a average daily driver this is not necissary at all. but for a strip vehicle that is a pretty dramatic diff not to mention required. when 100 pounds can determine if you run low 12s or high 11s ect.

oh yeah spl cars use lexan due to the fact it does bend more to a degree and resists shattering.


i havent ever seen someone fit the lexan in but i have seen it just heated over old windsheild then screwed on
