92- 2002 subs came both ways. the 92-around 95 were selectable and then they started adding the auto track, whitch is still selectabe but some modles after 99 or 200 came with a full time case. they are not like the old 70s t- cases where they offer a convertion kit. the only way would be to swap the t- case. If you want a selectabe one the best thing to do is see if it has a 2-hi button in the truck when you are looking at it, if it dosent, I would pass on it and find one that des. If you have not bought it yet you may as well find the one you want. i would recomend the 99- 2002 since it has the 5.3L, the get wat better MPG than the 98 and older 350.
