A base model can be a 50th, if it has buckets.
A custom, or CST could be a 50th regardless of seats.
The main thing is the paint and int codes, 551 off white/gold for paint and 627 parch vinal trim. Those codes is what makes it a 50th. Chevy only, since GMC started making trucks in 1902.
It has been debated as for two tone 1968 NON 50th trucks. I knw I've seen one on here, it apeared as original, and was 2 tone gold and white, but the codes were off.
The easiest way to spot them in all reality, is the 2 tone seat, and the gold dash pad and visors.
And there was no designation nor insignia that set them apart, just the colors.
