Torque converter can eat up a lot of hp. Me ventura made 438 at the wheels with 3500 stall converter. I swaped to a 9" redneck 4300 stall converter. On the dyno converter stalled at 5200 rpm and only 381 hp at the wheels no other changes. I send a converter back.
What was an air fuel ratio during the pulls?
