Is there a process for converting over the AC compressor to an Air compressor? As a general rule since AC compressors are closed systems they have oil in the refrigerant lines at all times. Thats what keeps the valves and piston lubed. A normal Air compressor has it own oiling system external from the inlet line.
The only AC compressor I am aware of that does not need oil in the lines is the 40+ year mopar Twin V style. Course that does not mean its impossible to over come this problem. I just have not heard of a way to do it yet.
