Here is my truck at dump with no notch & no drop spindles
And my old truck same thing
With any notch you are gonna have to cut a hole in you bed floor for the top of the rear axle to poke through
If you want to have a smooth floor, then just do a floor raise on your bed & put as big a notch as you want
