I've got no TBI-related complaints for my 91 4x4 crewcab. Its a 7000lb truck with a 350/4gear. I'm surprised I haven't killed it yet. Its a lot of truck for a small engine. Aside from basic consumables, it's needed a distributor and intake manifold (thermostat housing bolt seized)
The nicest part of the injection is the drivability. No more flooded carbs while 4-wheeling, and don't have to wait 10 mins for the bloody thing to warm up. As large and ornery as it is, I get 12mpg in the highway - 3000rpm all the way (ouch!)
