Thanks for the cool Info vectorit! I am considering trying to find a vortec to plunk in this old girl. I like the milage some of the othe guys are getting and they give plenty of power! I am suspect of the cam as well for many of the reason you suggest. I can live with the power issue (for now) but something has to change with the supsension!
We just took her out again on about a 100 mile round trip. Im SCARED to tow with it! It goes straight no problem but any little turn and it feels like the trailer is trying to pass the BURB! I have found a set of half ton trailing arms and a pan hard bar in my garage, I am thinking of getting the new bushings and putting them in the spares, then sliding em under! Any one know if the half ton and 3/4 ton arms are the same? Before that however, I am going to try new shocks. Thanks again for everyone's input!
