Re: axle bearings
The housing is stock and I assume the axles will have stock bearing and seal surfaces, although they will have a smaller O.D. hub locator to fit 71-72 drums. I plan to order them directly from Moser on Monday.
Thanks for the bearing P/Ns. After my intial post, I found TRP1559TV. So, that makes at least 3 variations of 1559TV. The bearings in the axle are Torrington D2-68126 or 68176. And, yes, the seals are 8835S.
One more question: I picked up a pair of finned 5-lug drums yesterday, but they don't have the adjuster access holes. Checked my 69 pickup (which I converted to 5-on-5 twelve years ago) and its finned drums DO have the holes. Any idea of which mfr's drums have the holes?
