Re: 6 lug to 5 lug swap
Welcome to the 67-72 Chevy truck board from West Michigan!
The 69 rear end has shorter axles then the 71-72 so swaping in the 5 lug axles will not work. Redrilling your axles is an option or replacing the whole rear end with the later year one.
