Your axles, manual tranny and transfer case all use the same 80w90 gear oil. I've often wondered if it would be helpful to use a synthetic gear oil to cut down on drag but haven't tried it. Rather than buy the small containers of gear oil, I pick up a 5 gallon container and a hand pump that goes in the container. You won't need that much of course but I find it is good to have on hand.
Anyone try synthetics in the axles, tranny and t/c that can comment on that?
No real suggestions on the coolant or power steering fluid - I usually just by what is on sale at my local parts store.
I like Valvoline 10w30 but use Rotella T these days in the same 10w30.
