The problem is the valve spring, I had the same problem. I had one spring that was alot stiffer than the others, I wiped 13 cams out and CRANE bought all 13 till the problem was solved with a new set of CRANE springs they bought. Mine would only last about 250 miles each before it was flat. on the #6 exhaust valve. I would have the machine shop, or you if you have a spring rate gauge tool, and check all they springs. I belive they should all be really close to the same, I dont recall the specs on mine. That truck has long since been sold, but still a daily driver on the same engine.
