I was told by Jerry Brown that the best way to get these to stay was to use epoxy to bond them to the drip rail. The reason that they were discontinued from GM is because they would not stay in place. I have seen three sets in original form that had sheet metal screws holding them in place- they were installed by the dealer to keep them on- I would have pitched a fit over it but was not mine.
