Hey guys, just to compound the headaches that my crewcab build are giving me, I picked up a new to me truck to actually prove I can build it without going over the top.
I just picked up a 1965 GMC 3/4 or 1 ton(I'm not sure) fleetside longbed. It's got a 305ci V6, 4 speed floor shift, is relatively driveable, and decently solid! I'll post pictures when I have a chance, I'm hoping to do a quick clean up, and cruise it until I fix my 2nd blown up rear end in my 01 SIlverado(but that is another story entirely!) Anyone have any info on the bed wood dimensions used on these trucks? I did carpentry for 5 years, so making the bed wood should not be a problem, but I'd like to really know the dimension of the thickness of the wood. Thanks in advance!
