thanks, that makes perfect sense. I am still confused on the plastic piece that butts up to the steering wheel though, are the metal nubs supposed to slide into it and then you rotate the plastic piece? This looks to be the only way to get everything "tight". Also, the turn signal shaft that comes out of the plastic piece is very low if the rotation I mention doesnt happen.
