I agree with the Jags that Rin comment, but if you want something a little more V6, GM makes a 3.4 litre replacement crate motor that bolts in where your 2.8 was. Now don't expect the power of a 4.3, but it's an easy swap, and should be good for some HP over the 2.8. Really though, if you want some more power, go with the Jags V8 conversion.
