Oddly enough....

If my memory serves me right (which it may not), there was an option on the 66/67 maybe 68 Chevelles with the 396 that included a traction system which consisted of a pump, switch and squirters for the rear tires. It was designed to spray tire traction (like VHT). But any liquid would work.

I also heard of a guy with an older vette (bone stock looking of course) in the NY area that had the coolest sleeper...seperate tank for race gas, auto switched cutouts, NOS of course and a setup like your talking about.

I would think it would be easy to make.
