Ah.. The old "liquid tire chain". It was offered on a few GM passenger cars in the late 60's although I think 69 was the last year. Not many were ordered because it was, well... a stupid idea. Anyway it was designed to spray anntifreeze on the rear tires for better snow and ice traction . Ive only seen one and it was under a 67 camaro in a junkyard in Ohio. That was back when a 67 camaro in a junkyard wasnt a shocking sight. If I had the brains at the time I would have grabbed it. Those things are worth big bucks to the "have all the obscure options" crowd.

Same junkyard had a convertible 69 pace car camaro smashed under 3 other cars. Houndstooth interior and all. I did manage to get the 12 bolt out of that one. Threw it under mine and drove it for 3 years.
