bad thing is that you have to pull the wheel, then lock-outs, then brake caliper, then hub, then spindle and then get the spindle off (that's the hard part). Then do that again in the junkyard and put it all back together... If you can find a matching dana 44 3/4 ton axle (8 lugs) then buy the whole thing (maybe $150?). Do all the work at home and keep the extra parts.
A newer 10 bolt won't work because the inner axle is different (length and spline count) so you have to find a Dana44 3/4 ton.
Or you could buy replacement axles and U-joints $$$

Try not to spin those front tires so much unless you go up to a Dana 60 ($900).
