A friend of mine just put an aluminum driveshaft out of a 95 or so caprice cop car in his shortbox 72 that has a 700r4 trans in it. He said it was the right length and bolted right in but it was in a pile of driveshafts so they are unsure of what it came out of but that cop car was what they guessed to to be anyways. Hope this helps. Maybe somebody could crawl under a cop car down at the station and get a length for us?
