Nice trip to the boneyard, Chief?

I haven't gone in a while...was trying to locate a 60-66 auto column shift for my 700R4 conversion, when I stumbled on a beat up 62...

When that front clip came along it was a cool way to update your "old" 73-87 with a modern look. In our area it was so popular, Burbs were being stolen just for the clip.

Now that a few generations of styles have gone by, the 91 clip no longer has the impact that it once did. Combine that with the 73-80 round headlight style being old enough to have a look "classic", it makes the conversion less desirable for many of us.

BTW- I mean no disrespect to those that like the 91 front end, just stating my opinion.
Makes alot of sense to me N2.....I hear what your saying....didn't know the styles were changing for the square bodys. This past year saw a dropped Full Vert Blazer with a 90 clip...looked cool to me though....dropped hard on 24's.

Just thought I would provide some FYI...
