Re: '67 step-side replacement rear bumper

Just a little update. I got a lead on a well built 350.

My good friend James has a neighbor named George. (exciting story huh?) He had built a strong 350 for his younger brother's '84 Chevy truck. It has Vortec heads, roller rockers, 9 1/2 compression pistons, edlebrock this, edlebrock that... nice!

It has been unused for quite some time and sitting in his back yard. My friend James and I went over today and talked to him about it. He was showing us all the receipts and said, "well, I will never get out of it what I put in it..."

He told me that for a grand I can have the motor.... I said yes of course. I am waiting to see how much his little brother wants for his '84. I will prolly buy both and then put my leaky 305 in it and use it as a beater. Will be nice to have a second truck I can actually use as a truck! (I think that is the true def of 'inory')

Body is straight tho (would make a great starter project), I'll get pics up as soon as I can of the truck and motor.

See ya!
