I am a DIE-HARD BFG guy. Michelins for street tires, BFG for offroad. (BFG is owned by Michelin) I'd get you some new BFG all terrains for mostly street driving, mud terrains if you are going to be off road a lot.
33 12.5 should fit fine with no lift on a 10" wheel. I ran 33 14.5 on an 8" wheel with only slight rubbing on the leaf spring during sharp turns.
For your 2500, you will most likely need 16 or 16.5 rims, especially if you want to do disc brakes and have'nt. If that is the case, I prefer 16's over 16.5's and maybe even 17's except tires are pricey. I would do 305 75 16 which is ~ 33 12.5 16.
