Here's some pictures of the front end work. I did this before the Drop Members were out, so I did it the hard way. I think I sectioned it 3 inches (It was a couple years ago) and moved it foreward 2 inches to push the wheel to the front of the wheel well opening. Then I took a walk through the wrecking yard next door and found an '04 Chevy Pickup Rack and Pinion that would work with where I had the crossmember placed. It wasn't easy to mount though...

I don't have any build shots of doing the crossmember but here it is tacked in a bolt in rack mount fabricated so that you can take the rack out with the engine installed:
