That's kinda what I was thinking, but I don't know if my wife would agree. Our local market says this vehicle would be worth approximately $5500 (Canadian) because of it's relatively high miles - 240,000km (150K miles).
It's a great vehicle for travelling. For camping locally, we take the Chevy. But for longer distances, we remove the rear seats, throw on a car top carrier and drive.
And according to a number of people who have seen this vehicle, they all say the engine is in great shape, despite it's mileage. And to be honest, it's been quite reliable, and since I do most mechanical work myself, it hasn't cost us that much (except for the tranny).
So, we will obviously have to make some choices. I certainly appreciate and respect your advice.
