They stop short of the bottom of the frame rail so the bottom of the exhaust pipe hangs below the rail. I had a "hack" put them on and do the exhaust and was not happy with the way the whole exhaust system turned out. I took them off because originally when I had them installed, I was leaning towards dropping a performance crate motor in. I have now changed my mind and am going to more of a stock setup. I do have a 3.5/5 drop on my truck and the height of the exhaust was not an issue.
