Lotik,Orange72,
i think what bagged78 what trying to say is that he wasn't baggin on either of your trucks, they are both badasss and have had alot of work put into them , but if you are going for that bodyless body drop thing then why should you have to cut the floor? other than for tranny clearance,
you can achieve the stock floor by pie cutting the front frame rail to the 2x3 you added ?
and boxing the pie cut, as for the rear you shouldn't have a problem i have seen a couple of ways to do this on 67-72 and 73-87 as well as 88-99. if you were going for structure you lost that a while ago??
as for the crossmember up front in later pics of lotiks frame up front that looked to be a 4speed tranny crossmember and couldn't use it anyways right?
but for the crossmember in the back you could have easily boxed the rear half of the frame and cut the top to a pie cut angle also? just a thought?
hey this is all new to all of us and not everyone is a pro or a rocket scientist so what do you do? its trial and error???? keep postin pics and updates but yes they are both gonna be bad ass rides goodluck with them both you guys!!!
other people just have a few different ideas about cleanliness in the way some things should look , check out that website they hack em up with the best of em!!!
