It depends on what you want. I have tried a Holley 390, rebuilt Rochester 1bbl and now have a Holley / Weber 2bbl. If you go with a two or four that are progressive, i.e. the secondary(ies) don't open till you get into it, the performance is good and so is drivability. The Holley 4bbl and H/W 2bbl offer electric choke, which is good.
