Oh man! At over 800 each they can keep their sub-par parts. My gennie 69 grille is looking pretty good these days. Sure it has some miles on it and a small dent or two but I will try to polish it up before I spend that kind of money on a new one. Besides some blemishes give it character.
I remember an episode on TV a few yrs back where they straightened out and polished up lower trim pieces for a C10. Came out great. May have been on my classic car.
You're right Pickmup. There seems to be a real lack of concern for quality parts these days. Is it the demand for the parts that lets them get away with it?
