Never heard a magna flow on an escalade. But magna flow usually have a nice deep tone and should sound real nice on a stock motor. Not obnoxious load like a flowmaster, more of a growl.
Ya I have them on my 71 and they sound really good. I listened to the Escalade sound clip on thier website and they sound good on there just but hard to tell how loud they are. The stock system sounds pretty good, more like a sports car then a SUV, it has a resinator plus the muffler so must be farely free flowing plus the tail pipe looks like it's mandrel bent so not sure how much gain I'll get from a cat back. When you use a power programer on a diesel it increases cylinder pressure, problem is F*rd uses crappy head bolts that let the heads lift usually causing the head gasket to go over time. If it was off warrenty I would upgrade to ARP bolts, if I did it now my warrenty would be gone for sure. Most warrenty agreements on new cars and trucks states in black and white any changes AT ALL cancels warrenty, most dealers just don't tell them about small changes to keep happy customers. Problem isn't my dealer they will try to push it through, it's F*rd cracking down and sending company guys out to inspect major jobs such as this, if you have used a programer it leaves a distinct burn pattern on the pistons as a let tale sign.
