I haven`t done this,but the frames are about the same.How exactly the same,I don`t know for sure.But,I think when they say "1st generation" I believe they are more Blazer oriented as an extreme trail vehicle.They say 69-72 not 67-72 which goes along with what I`m saying.There is no difference between truck and Blazer.So,whatever you see for blazers will go on a truck as well.
